Canadian women’s health pharmaceutical company Tyros Biopharma has expanded its portfolio with four new products introduced in 2026, strengthening its focus on menopause, urinary tract health and intimate care. The additions, Gynatrof MenoControl, Uriexo Control+, Uriexo Attack+ and Uriexo CystiRelief+, form part of the company’s strategy to address women’s health concerns that often receive limited attention.
Key Highlights:
Founded in Montreal in 2011 and now headquartered in Laval, Tyros Biopharma develops and commercialises products targeting vaginal, vulvar and urinary health across different stages of women’s lives. Its portfolio covers reproductive years, pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause and menopause, with an emphasis on accessible, non-hormonal and science-backed solutions.
Gynatrof MenoControl, introduced in June 2026, expands the company’s Gynatrof range beyond local vaginal and vulvar care. The daily capsule uses the Estro-G® complex alongside vitamins B6, B12, D and folate. Tyros positions the product as a non-hormonal option for managing symptoms associated with menopause, including hot flashes, night sweats, sleep disruption, fatigue, mood changes, joint discomfort and vaginal dryness. The product is now available through Canadian retail pharmacies, including Jean Coutu stores.
The three other launches strengthen the Uriexo urinary health franchise. Uriexo Control+ is designed for daily support and contains 36 mg of proanthocyanidins (PACs) and vitamin C. The formulation is positioned around reducing bacterial adhesion and supporting urinary tract health, particularly for women concerned about recurring urinary tract infections.
Uriexo Attack+ takes a different approach, providing support during periods of increased urinary tract infection risk. Its formulation combines 2,000 mg of D-mannose with vitamin C. Meanwhile, Uriexo CystiRelief+ focuses on the short-term relief of discomfort associated with cystitis. It uses sodium citrate to increase urine pH and is intended for symptom relief rather than treatment of the underlying condition.
The four additions build on Tyros Biopharma’s existing product lines, which include Gynatrof vaginal moisturisers and vulvar care products, Gynalac for bacterial vaginosis and Gynacan for symptoms associated with vaginal yeast infections. The expanded Uriexo range also includes Uriexo Double Action.
Tyros introduced the new products progressively across Canadian pharmacy chains, including Rexall, Jean Coutu, Shoppers Drug Mart and Familiprix. The company says additional products remain in development as it seeks to identify and address unmet needs in women’s health.
Behind its expansion, Tyros draws on a multidisciplinary team with experience in pharmaceutical research, product development, regulatory affairs and commercialisation. The company aims to use this expertise to bring products from development through regulatory approval and into retail markets.
