The Women’s Health Forum Europe is set to hold its inaugural event in Paris on November 27, bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, researchers and institutions to discuss the growing women’s health sector. The one-day forum will be organised by Femtech France and led by its Managing Director, Delphine Moulu.
The event will take place at Handilab in Paris and is expected to bring together more than 200 participants from across the women’s health and femtech ecosystem. The forum will focus on key developments in women’s health policy as well as the broader market opportunities emerging in the sector.
The program will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, research presentations and networking sessions. These sessions are expected to provide a platform for industry leaders, researchers, investors and entrepreneurs to exchange ideas and discuss opportunities for advancing innovation in women’s health.
Key Highlights:
Two innovation challenges focused on innovation to support startups in the area of women's health solutions will be an integral part of the event. The first is the Perimenopause & Menopause Challenge, which will center on innovations solving health challenges related to the perimenopause and menopause, and is being co-organized with PiLeJe.
The second challenge is the Women's Health Wearables Challenge, in collaboration with Garmin Health. It will bring attention to technology and clothing geared toward women's health. Startups entering the challenges will have access to business resources and mentorship opportunities to help them build and advance their solution.
The forum is also being co-organised by various national and regional women's health and femtech collectives. These are FemTech Germany, FemTech Portugal, FemTech Spain, FemTech NL, Tech4Fem and FemTech Across Borders. It is hoped that they will contribute to the development of closer cooperation between the various European markets and to the linkage of entrepreneurs and other parties interested in the field.
This is the first forum held as women's health remains in the spotlight of entrepreneurs, investors, researchers and tech start-ups. With the event, this approach hopes to foster linkages and promote the formulation of new solutions to meet the needs of women's health.
The Women's Health Forum Europe (WLF Europe) is bringing together the European women's health ecosystem and helping to nurture the next generation of solutions to the sector with its policy discussions, research, innovation challenges and networking at its first-ever gathering in Paris.
