Entreprenelle, a social for-profit organization with an emphasis on community development within the Middle East and North Africa region, has launched the second edition of the mini ‘SHE CAN – Tech & AI Edition’, as per a press release.

It will be conducted jointly with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency and will be under the patronage of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the National Council for Women, and the National Council for Persons with Disabilities.

The event will be facilitated at the Creativa Innovation Hub, located inside the Sultan Hussein Kamel Palace, in Heliopolis, with collaboration and support from various partners including Kuwait Finance House – Egypt (KFH-Egypt), Capgemini Egypt, and Bless.

This event received more than 1,000 participants and included 45 speakers. It mainly targeted women entrepreneurs, leaders, investors, and professionals. The focus fell on information technology, artificial intelligence, career, and job opportunities.

The participants were entrepreneurs at various levels of business, senior executives, career seekers belonging to generation Z, and freelance workers.

The parallel sessions and workshops handled discussions on the use of AI and digital technologies in the field of business management and career development, ideation, and financial resource management, and the role of AI in digital marketing, e-commerce, education, and entrepreneurship.

Entreprenelle's Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Rania Ayman, explained that the mini edition 'demonstrates their continued effort in supporting women across the region and strengthening their participation in the growing technology sector'.

She added that, with regard to ITIDA data, Egypt's tech industry currently employs more than 300,000 workers, with over 30 percent being women. Plans are underway to increase the total number of jobs to 500,000 by 2026. This would explain the growing use of opportunities open for women in the sector.
