Heineken and UC3 have announced the extension of Heineken’s sponsorship partnership with the UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL) until June 2030.
Heineken® is extending its commitment as an official partner of the UWCL for the upcoming commercial period (2025-2030) after supporting the competition since 2021. The brand has now committed to UWCL for five years, demonstrating the continued commitment of the brand to the competition.
The new competition structure features an exciting 18-team league stage that starts in the 2025/26 season, providing even more thrilling top competitions for fans to be engaged with. The league stage has its Matchday 1 on October 7 and 8, 2025.
Guy-Laurent Epstein, UEFA Marketing Director & UC3 Co-Managing Director said Heineken®'s extension agreement shows confidence in the competition's growth and global standing and will be a key part in the growth of women's football by exciting fans around the world.
Nabil Nasser, Heineken’s Global Head, emphasized, “Football is one of the unifying experiences and commonalities that we all have.” Extending the sponsorship to 2030 allows Heineken to develop campaigns to unite persons with women's football, being an advocate of messages of inclusion and diversity, as well as growing the game.
