International Women's Conference Returns to Hofstra University

  • The event will develop the leadership potential of various women leaders from different parts of the world

 

The Hofstra International Women's Conference (IWC) will again take place on March 7, 2026 with a full-day program designed to highlight & develop the leadership potential of women leaders from around the globe; this year's theme is "Her Voice".

“Her Culture. Her Legacy. Her Power!” The ninth IWC will now be featuring a full day of programming for women executives, entrepreneurs, public servants, creative & advocates from a wide variety of industries. It is anticipated that people from throughout New York State & other regions will be able to attend.

The programming will examine how women's leadership has molded institutions, developed communities, & created sustainable economic development; sessions will focus on subjects such as: leadership development, entrepreneurship, public service, financial empowerment & the media's influence on intergenerational leadership.

The keynote speaker will be New York State Senator Siela A. Bynoe. Her career & successful election to the New York State Senate are being used as examples of how one's career & development of leadership skills can serve as a means of fulfilling the core themes of the conference.

Dr. Neva Alexander, conference host and CEO of Nevalliance stated the main goal of the conference is "To provide a platform for sharing perspectives and recognizing achievements while empowering women with leadership skills"
