The LEAD Network has announced its 2025 Changemakers, highlighting the contributions of the consumer goods and retail sectors in Europe toward furthering gender equality.
Organizations and individuals recognized for their contributions include Morrisons, Kenvue, and David Lawlor, Senior Vice President of Kellanova Europe.
These organizations and individuals are being recognized for implementing inclusion as part of their business strategy and improving equity within their organizations.
“The continued pressures are affecting many companies' focus on inclusion due to its positive impact on business outcomes as well as on the workforce," said LEAD Network CEO, Allyson Zimmermann, about the announcement of the 2025 Changemakers; she then mentioned that the 2025 Changemakers have demonstrated their commitment to a measurable and sustainable approach.
According to LEAD Network, the company has reached a 50/50 gender balance in leadership positions ahead of schedule and has also broadened its policies on menopause, pregnancy loss, fertility treatment, and co-parenting leave.
The company has developed programs for mentoring, workshops under its #IamRemarkable campaign, and internal speaker events.
It has also supported efforts to address gender and menstrual inequality in sports through a partnership between its o.b. brand and Fortuna Düsseldorf, which helped form an under-15 women’s football team.
The LEAD Network is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organisation that aims to attract, retain, and develop women in the consumer goods and retail industry in Europe. It has over 2,600 members from 80+ countries, as well as 65 partner companies and over 430 active volunteers.
