SheAI Launches Bootcamp to Close AI Gender Gap for Womenpreneurs

By: gwl team | Thursday, 22 January 2026

  • “The next wave of innovation in AI will rely on women and the opportunities they create”
  • The more advanced AI becomes, the more it requires high-quality and sustainable code and techniques to address risks such as bias and technical debt

The future of AI innovation is deeply connected to women and the opportunities the women create for themselves and others.

As these AI systems advance further, becoming highly pervasive across industries, the success of AI development will require writing quality, sustainable code while being able to ensure system reliability with active mitigation of risks such as bias and technical debt.

However, the deficiency of women in software engineering, per a study produced in May 2025, raises concerns about the lack of diversity in AI development. Diverse perspectives play a key role in improvement toward robustness, lessening bias, and better quality generally in AI.

SheAI is an edtech startup based in Barcelona, set up in 2024 to fill the gap in AI by empowering women with high-quality, accessible AI education.

The organization is partnered with the United Nations AI for Good Skills Coalition and is the first platform internationally that solely focuses its efforts on AI training for women from all walks of life.

Its upcoming "From Idea to Income in 4 Weeks" beginner-friendly boot camp will include support for aspiring women entrepreneurs wanting to learn how to apply AI to grow their careers and businesses, starting on January 28, 2026.

Ever since the emergence of the ChatGPT model from OpenAI in November 2022, there's been a rapid integration of the generative AI tool into different aspects of life.

But the historical pattern of technological innovation and development also seems to be repeating itself: innovation and development are evidently male-dominated.

Krystina Talova, Stephany Oliveros, and Maja Zavrsniko, founders of SheAI, share that women may be left behind in the economy fueled by AI if they do not get appropriate support.
