WISE (Women in Sports and Events) Las Vegas has honored six Las Vegas women and one former resident for their contributions to the sports and entertainment industries and their continued efforts to advance these fields.

This year's honorees represent excellence across diverse disciplines. They include Lindy La Rocque, head coach of the UNLV women's basketball team; Lori Nelson-Kraft, senior vice president of corporate affairs for the Las Vegas Grand Prix; Stephanie Bruckner, executive director of global portfolio strategy at Light & Wonder; Ivette Fernandez, vice president of government relations at TKO

The parent company of UFC and WWE; Kim Frank, president of the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation; Diana Bennett, chair of the board and co-founder of Paragon Gaming and founder of Rebels EmpowerHER; and Brette Sadler, founder of the WISE Las Vegas chapter and currently senior director of marketing for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

In her time in Las Vegas, Lindy has built a championship-winning team at UNLV. She became the first native Las Vegas head coach of the Lady Rebels and reached 100 career wins within her first four seasons — the fastest in program history.

She is the first Mountain West coach to three times earn Coach of the Year in her first five seasons. In her first season, she was named UNLV’s first Mountain West Coach of the Year after the team finished second in conference, after being ranked ninth in the preseason poll.

Brette Sadler started her career in sports and entertainment with University of Miami Athletics while finishing her degree in public relations, psychology, and sport management.

She then moved to the Florida Panthers Hockey Club and Sunrise Sports & Entertainment, where she worked her way up from ticket sales to senior director of partnership activation.

After relocating to Atlanta, she worked with Octagon on Home Depot's sports partnerships before moving to Las Vegas in 2011 to lead the global marketing partnership activation team at the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

In 2017, she founded the WISE Las Vegas chapter. Brette went on to lead corporate partnerships at MGM Resorts International, and then joined PRP, a sports management company, followed by the Las Vegas Super Bowl Host Committee.

She later worked with the Washington Commanders on restructuring their partnerships team and, since July 2024, has overseen marketing for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Diana Bennett is a second-generation casino operator and a philanthropist serving on several nonprofit boards in Nevada. She co-founded Paragon Gaming with her cousin Scott Menke.

The company owns, operates, and develops properties across the western United States and Canada, including in Nevada.

As president of the Bennett Family Foundation, she supports organizations focused on the health, education, and well-being of women and children throughout the state and is regarded as one of Nevada’s most prominent philanthropists.
