Applications Open for UNESCO-Dior Program for Young Women Leaders

UNESCO and Dior have worked together to support the creation of a new generation of female leaders. Since its establishment in 2017, almost 2800 young ladies from over 60 countries, nearly 90 different nations, have benefited from this initiative.

The young women involved in this programme are from a variety of professions including engineering, business, international relations, STEM, design, art, communication, and public policy.

Each participant is paired with a Dior mentor and receives access to an online learning platform that connects them with other individuals across the globe.

A social impact project is included in this programme and focuses on empowering young women and girls within their local communities. It is part of UNESCO's Global Education Coalition and supports global movements to achieve equality for women through access to education.

Women@Dior & UNESCO is a mentorship and educational programme that lasts for one year and is based on the collective values of both organizations: autonomy, creativity, inclusion, and sustainable development.

UNESCO and Dior focus on Gender Equality due to the fact that both organizations believe that achieving gender equality is critical in creating societies that work. To support excellent working relationships to all youth as much as possible, Mundial@Dior and UNESCO will provide programs.

Youth who receive the benefit of mentorship, role models, digital skills, and scientifically validated methods run directly by Mundial @Dior and UNESCO have found support in various areas to eliminate barriers to gender equality and create a more inclusive educational experience.

Dream for Change supports UNESCO with community empowerment, the education of girls, and increased representation for women in STEM careers, and leadership that is responsive to the unique needs of women.

Through one-on-one mentoring with an experienced Dior professional mentor, youth will find inspiration for their professional development, goal setting, and personal confidence. Mentors and mentees will be matched based upon shared interests, goals, and leadership potential.

Educational Platform Youth participating in this program will have access to over 16 online courses taught by professors, guest speakers, and experts from Mundial@Dior and UNESCO as well as many other international institutions.

The online courses have topics ranging from women's empowerment to responsible leadership to using creativity for sustainable development to health and wellness to diversity and innovation.

The program is open to women who are under 30 years at the time of application, enrolled full-time in an institution of higher education and in their last undergrad year or pursuing postgraduate studies (Master’s or PhD) proficient in written and spoken English at a B2 level or higher

From any academic discipline, but with a demonstrated keen interest in women’s empowerment and other related matters and first-time applicants to the Women@Dior & UNESCO program

Application are open till 31 December 2025 (23:59 Paris time, GMT +1). Applications submitted outside of this period will not be considered.
