Dalton Henshaw, founder and CEO of independent agency Bullfrog, will step back from day-to-day operations, with Kim Anderson, former Head of Marketing for the FIFA Women’s World Cup, stepping in as his successor.
Reflecting on the agency’s journey, Dalton said: “Since inception we’ve been on a journey to challenge broken legacy agency models and have evolved into a true growth company. Today's CMOs require allies who can bridge creativity, technology and business results as never before—demonstrating value right through to the CEO and CFO.
Succession planning is essential for long-lasting businesses, and passing the torch to Kim today seems like the natural next step. She shares our values and comes with a global reputation for building communities and driving commercial outcomes. It's the right leadership at the right time."
Stepping back, Dalton will remain actively advisory to major clients and the leadership team, before becoming a father for the first time in December.
Bullfrog said Kim brings an "exceptional record" of leadership from directing marketing for the Women's World Cup.
Speaking about her vision for the agency, Kim added:
"Bullfrog's modern model places data, creativity and community at its core. Building on Dalton's direction, I will forge a business that's bold, contemporary and values-driven. We aim to be a destination for great talent, growth-oriented partners, and visionary creative leadership.
This is an opportunity to create a new class of service model—a contemporary Australian growth company that's independent, influential and culturally attuned. It's the type of business I want to lead."
Kim's hire completes Bullfrog's executive leadership team, which also comprises:
This move signals a new chapter for Bullfrog as it continues to grow its independent, growth-driven model in the Australian market.
