Recraft, Anna Veronika Dorogush

Founded in 2022 by machine learning expert Anna Veronika Dorogush who’s the co-creator of the CatBoost library, Recraft is reimagining graphic design through AI. Its generative design platform enables teams to produce brand-consistent, high-fidelity visuals with speed and precision, being powered by its proprietary model, Recraft V3, which has outperformed Midjourney and OpenAI’s DALL·E on global benchmarks.

In May 2025, Recraft raised $30 million in a Series B funding round led by Accel, with Madrona Ventures, Khosla Ventures, Nat Friedman, Elad Gil and RTP Global joining in. The firm had achieved more than 4 million users at the time, recording 10x growth in two years.

This particular investment will help Recraft to expand its AI models, increase its go-to-market capacity, and implement sophisticated ‘Style Creation & Controls’ for creative teams.
