NextGen Jane, Ridhi Tariyal

NextGen Jane was co-founded by Ridhi Tariyal. The startup is now altering women's health diagnostics with an easy, non-invasive ‘smart tampon’ that collects molecular information to identify conditions such as endometriosis and other reproductive ailments.

The company has raised a $2.2 million SBIR Direct to Phase II award in 2025 from the NIH's Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, its second NIH-sponsored grant.

The key funding is driving the company's closing clinical validation studies for its endometriosis diagnostic device, a game-changer with the potential to revolutionize early detection and treatment for millions of women.

Under Ridhi’s guidance, NextGen Jane is not just introducing state-of-the-art biotechnology into daily life but also building a new narrative about reproductive health equity.
