Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 places women at the heart of its change agenda, identifying them as key drivers of national growth. Such wide-ranging reforms from labour-market flexibility and anti-discrimination legislation to childcare and transport assistance have been implemented by the government thereby it has created a more facilitative environment for women's engagement.

Targeted programs under the National Transformation Program are directed towards enhancing leadership and entrepreneurship opportunities for women. Women's labour-force participation rose from 23.2% between 2016 and 2023 to over 34.5%, surpassing Vision 2030's initial target.

The Kingdom's priority today is to sustain that momentum through education, STEM inclusion and boardroom representation. The roadmap of the nation shows the manner in which economic diversification and gender inclusion can generate measurable social and economic returns.
