To mark its 9th anniversary, a top Nigerian communications and media advisory firm, SoMe Solutions has launched an ambitious give-back initiative entitled as ‘The Unicorn Project’, aimed at catapulting one standout women-owned brand to national attention and lasting influence.

In collaboration with PremiaBN, the program seeks to empower underrepresented women founders through a complete brand makeover package worth ₦20 million. These includes strategic PR, influencer marketing, branding, mentorship along with business development assistance.

During the launch announcement, the team accentuated, “This isn’t just a giveaway. It’s an investment in visibility, scale, and the next great African success story.”

The Unicorn Project will provide a once-in-a-lifetime brand exposure experience. One exceptional business will be awarded with ₦20 million of brand assistance in the form of PR, influencer marketing and business strategy; Strategic mentorship and media exposure; Funding and commercial partnership opportunities; and the opportunity to be part of SoMe's legacy of influential African brand narratives.

From amplifying brand voice to opening doors to business networks, the winning brand will go through a transformation that will propel it into unicorn potential, literally and figuratively.

Furthermore, this particular initiative is open for brands that are led by women; Nigeria-bases businesses; founders who have working product or service; and lastly, entrepreneurs having little or no previous PR experience at all.

Basically, this project is looking forwards to having real grit and potential but not polish. It is a chance for everyone, from bootstrapping beauty brands to fashion disruptors, to amplify their voice on a national platform.
